Back at my office!! Spring is popping out, subtile greens hidden in the ocre winter reeds. This time I went with my bike so I could go more further in to the area near the ocean.

Day31: My last painting for the Strada easel challenge. It was a heavy month with tons of snow, biting wind and many, many car shelters .

Day 30: Together painting with the tall reeds swaying gently, the hard, biting wind and the swirling snow... brrr, nature is never truly boring or predictable.

Day 29: Wow... the challenge is nearly completed, but for me, the journey will never truly end. The urge to paint and explore will always be a constant source of inspiration.

Day 28: On Monday, there was barely any snow left, but overnight, it returned with a vengeance. Just look at the transformation so much snow! And yes, I absolutely love capturing it's beauty on canvas.

I have been using the U.GO for several years now, and yes, I am still absolutely in love with this versatile and reliable box. Over time, I’ve grown to rely on all three sizes, and it really depends on how far I plan to walk or the size of the canvas or panel I intend to use that determines which one I choose to take with me for the day.
"As a full-time plein air artist, I work in all weather conditions and seasons. My work is recognizable by the thick layers of paint and the firm brushstroke. So I have some demands on my painting gear and brushes that I would love to share with you!
Hike & Paint is perhaps the best way to stay fit, and with my new U.GO 6"x 8" (small) it is even more enjoyable! This handy, compact pochade box fits perfectly in a small backpack, together with all my drawing and painting supplies.
For my large plein air works, I have been using the Mabef M23 for years. This easel is strong, robust and ideal for use in various weather conditions. Thanks to its sturdy design and high-quality materials, I can continue painting even in strong winds.
